We are a long Established Electrical Company undertaking all aspects of Electrical Contracting within the Fife, Perthshire, Angus & Dundee areas and beyond.

A bit about us

The Company of E W Edwardson (Electrical Contractors) Ltd was originally established in 1918 and has undergone many changes since then to be where we are today.

We are fully committed to the ever changing aspects of the electrical industry and are totally committed to Inspecting & Testing, a requirement very much to the fore with the strict guidance of the 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671:2018.

We encourage local youth employment, actively participating in the Scottish Electrical Charitable Training Trust (SECTT) Modern Apprenticeship Scheme, ensuring the future of both the Company and local youth employment is reached.

As members of the professional Body NICEIC we pride ourselves in our committment to safe working practice and promotion of professional local employment.

Working with Clients such as Angus Council, Fife Council, Perth & Kinross Council, Dundee City Council, University of St Andrews & NHS Fife we offer a vast array of services and knowledge ensuring our Clients come away fully satisfied with the service they have received.

It is anticiplated that We will continue to expand moving gradually into different areas whilst still maintaining our core business and professional approach to the Industry.

Clifford Murray

Contracts Manager/Director

The most serious member of our staff, having spent 29 years to date with the Company he is "built in with the bricks" dealing mostly with Councils on major contracts ensuring that smooth running and positive outcomes are achieved. A Guru in the testing field - he's the man to ask!

Lesley Rafferty

Office Manager/Director/Company Secretary

With the Company for over 24 years dealing with the Financial side of things as well as the admin within the office, broad shoulders are a benefit in my job but what can i say, as i am typing this, i have to say I'm brilliant!

Lewis Farrow

Contracts Manager/Director

The latest addition to the Board of Directors and known as the "hot shot" of the office, extremely motivated in all aspects of his duties, keen to progress and achieve! Dealing mainly with the Councils he is an atribute to our Team. Overseeing the Term Maintenance, Testing and installation works. Extremely difficult to pin down as he is constantly "zooming" from once place to another yet still finding time to be the office prankster!

Carey Davidson

Now with the Company for over 14 years her primary role is to get the best deal on everything she buys to benefit the Client, whether it be rawlplugs or a £20K switchgear.... she's the gall for the job!!

Stuart Harris

Electrical Supervisor

Recently joining the "office staff" Stuart has been with the Company since he was a "wee lad" working his way up from Apprentice to Qualified Supervisor, impressing his peers on the way. Now stepping up his game and dealing with Clients such as Perth & Kinross Council, Angus Council and Dundee City Council to name but a few he is a breath of fresh air to our team and a valuable asset leading the Company forward.

Marc McWilliams

Electrical Supervisor

Recently joining the "office staff" Marc has taken over the role of "Estimator" having worked his way through the ranks from Apprentice to Estimator since leaving school and proving himself day by day to be a valued member of staff. Dealing with all aspects of Estimating as well as being the main point of contact for works with Dundee City Council in the upmost professional manner.

Valerie White

Quality Health & Safety Officer

The newest member of the team. Valerie is the go-to person for all things H&S related both on-site and within the office, dealing with Clients and setting up site inductions etc for new contracts, liaising with the Electrical Supervisors and Directors alike, offering advice and guidance and generally keeping them all in line!
