F1 Schools Project – A Proud Day for All
As Company sponsors of 3 Montrose teams taking part in the F1 Schools Project, Director Lewis Farrow & Contracts Supervisor Stuart Harris had a fantastic day as judges at this National televised Event.
The event was held in Dundee with schools from all over Scotland attending. The aim of the project is to get Students working together in groups, designing, manufacturing, marketing and arranging funding via sponsorship of their F1 Car creations. Racing them at the event and competing against other groups in the hope of progressing to the national awards and onto the World Finals in Saudi Arabia.
There was a fantastic turnout and support for the Students and their teams from the Event Organisers, the schools and their Sponsors.
Well done to all the teams who participated and to the organisers of this event.
Our sponsored teams – Storm Racing, All Stars & MO Motors, all did amazing with one of which Storm Racing made it to the awards, which was a fantastic achievement for them but equally fantastic for the other 2 teams who took part, enjoying the experience and the day. Well done!!
The winners of each category progress to the UK Final and then onto a World Final held in Saudi Arabia.
The organizers and pupils were hugely grateful for our attendance and support. With being the only Electrical firm to take part.
A proud day for E W Edwardson being involved with such an innovative project.
